Originally built in 1969 as the Alma Medical Clinic, the clinic has been regularly updated with modern amenities and equipment. The facility includes examining rooms, a procedure room for minor surgeries and other procedures, and a small laboratory for rapid analysis of some samples. The clinic is immediately adjacent to Harlan County Health System, which recently opened a new $6 million wing offering the latest in medical technologies. Some tests and procedures for Heartland Family Medicine patients will be conducted at the hospital.

Oxford - Heartland Family Medicine
The Oxford facility was originally opened in 1970. This medical complex included the Fritzer Memorial Hospital, the Oxford Medical Clinic, a pharmacy, and the long term care of the Senior Citizens home to which it was attached.
The clinic business was eventually sold to Tri Valley Health System of Cambridge and later to Family Medical Specialties of Holdrege in 2003.
Dr. Anton Smolik of Heartland Family Medicine purchased the medical business in August, 2006. The facility includes X-ray, examining rooms, a procedure room for minor surgeries and other procedures, and a small laboratory for sample analysis.
The building is also home to Mark's Pharmacy and Southwest Nebraska Physical Therapy.
